1. Scope
This policy describes how Erick Vargas P.A. ("Erick Vargas," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information through ErickVargasRealEstate.com (the "Site"). Real estate brokerage services may be provided through Lifestyle International Realty, and mortgage services may be provided through Bold Mortgage. Their independent privacy practices may also apply when you formally engage their services.
2. Information we collect
- Contact information: name, email address, telephone number, and communications with us.
- Buyer-estimate information: approximate gross income, recurring debts, available funds, credit-score range, employment category, occupancy, property type, desired area, and timeframe.
- Seller/property information: property address and optional details about condition, features, and improvements.
- Technical information: IP address, browser/device data, pages viewed, referral source, and security or server logs. Cookies may be used for essential functionality and, if enabled, privacy-conscious analytics.
Do not submit Social Security numbers, bank credentials, full account numbers, tax returns, pay stubs, identification documents, or other sensitive documents through these forms.
3. How we use information
- Respond to your request and communicate about relevant real estate, mortgage, or valuation services.
- Generate and personally review a preliminary home-price estimate.
- Review a property and provide a preliminary market-value opinion.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site.
- Maintain business records and comply with applicable law, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
4. How information is disclosed
We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to: Lifestyle International Realty or Bold Mortgage in connection with the service you request; vendors that provide hosting, databases, email delivery, security, analytics, or professional support; regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety; or a successor in a business transaction subject to appropriate protections.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If advertising technology is added later, this policy and any required controls must be updated before it is activated.
5. Cookies and analytics
The Site may use essential cookies required for security and form functionality. Optional analytics should not be activated until the cookie notice and this policy identify the provider and available controls. Browser settings can limit cookies, although doing so may affect functionality.
6. Retention
Detailed buyer financial snapshots are generally retained for up to 12 months after submission unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for an active transaction, legal obligation, dispute, or your request. Contact and transaction-related records are retained while needed for the requested relationship and applicable recordkeeping duties. Routine security logs are generally retained for up to 90 days and quarantined spam for up to 30 days. Information is then deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of when reasonably practicable.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information handled, including access controls, transport encryption, and encryption of stored financial fields where implemented. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted, or opt out of non-transactional marketing email, by emailing ErickVargasRealtor@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We may verify your identity and may retain information when required by law or reasonably necessary for a transaction, security, or legal claim. Marketing messages will include an unsubscribe method where required; service messages about a request you initiated may still be sent.
9. Children
The Site is intended for adults seeking real estate-related services and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Third-party sites
Links to external sites, including NMLS Consumer Access, listing platforms, or social networks, are governed by those sites' own policies. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as the Site and legal requirements change. The revised date will appear above. Material changes may also be highlighted on the Site.
